Turkish Cargo continues to buck the trend
According to the international air cargo information provider WACD's December data, Turkish Cargo, which serves 321 destinations (88 maindeck destinations) in 127 countries of the world, grew significantly in 2019 and reported a 7.1% increase in tonnage in a sector in which the global air cargo market shrank by -4.4%.
Turkish Cargo, which has the largest growth rate among the top 10 airlines, rose to 7th place in the international air cargo industry and expanded its global market share to 4.1%.
Based on the amount of tonnage sold, the successful air cargo brand grew % in the Middle East and South Asia and 7.1% in Africa. The company therefore continued its upward trend by achieving positive results in all the regions where it provides air cargo service. (ah)
