Two ASL Group members join Iata

Three weeks before the Iata World Cargo Symposium (WCS) in London, where ITJ will distribute its upcoming edition 39-40/2022, the global airlines' association has announced that ASL Airlines Belgium has become an airline member effective 18 August 2022.

Formerly TNT Airways, it was founded in 1999 and acquired by ASL Aviation Group on 24 May 2016. Based in Liege and providing Acmi and specialised charter services, one of its main activities is supplying the Fedex-TNT combination European network.

Just two weeks ago, ASL Airlines Ireland also joined Iata. Based in Dublin, where the Iata WCS 2021 took place, the carrier operates passenger and cargo services relying on aircraft and crew bases in ten European countries and Hong Kong. It serves some of the major global express freight integrators such as Fedex, DHL and UPS. (ah)
