UTA One next expands toll services in Europe
UTA Edenred has enhanced its UTA One next interoperable toll box by incorporating toll processing for Czechia, making it the most comprehensive toll box on the market, covering 18 European countries. This 4G-compatible on-board unit allows users to manage tolls easily with an over-the-air update, and new customers can opt for pre-installed toll contexts. Pierre Jalady, general manager of Edenred Mobility EMEA, highlighted the addition of Czech tolls as a means to streamline mobility across Europe for UTA customers.
The UTA One next is specifically designed for vehicles exceeding 3.5 t and now supports toll collections in Germany, France, Italy and beyond. It also offers additional services, including the UTA SmartConnect telematics service that provides fleet managers with real-time insights. Furthermore, starting July 2026, the UTA One next will facilitate the new satellite-based toll system in the Netherlands, replacing the Eurovignette system, ensuring efficiency and convenience for users.
