Warehouse deal closed in Madrid
The onset of winter has not prevented Prologis from completing its acquisition agreement with Spanish real estate company Colonial comprising 18 logistics facilities totalling 473,000 sqm in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Guadalajara.
As part of the three-phased agreement, Prologis purchased two buildings in San Fernando de Henares totalling 56,000 sqm.
In the first phase of the transaction, in August 2019, the real estate provider acquired eleven facilities totalling 314,000 sqm.
In the second phase in July 2020, it purchased five buildings totalling 100,200 sqm. Prologis now manages 1.2 million sqm of logistics and industrial space in Spain. (sh)
