Willy Daufenbach turns 90
On 29.09.2013 Willy Daufenbach, the long-standing vice-president of the former Federal Association of German Long-Distance Hauling – today BGL –, will turn 90. He expanded his parents' transport company in Euskirchen, which Daufenbach headed up from 1955, with branches in Germany and abroad. As of 1 January 1997, the company was sold to the British Hays group. He was vice-president of the BDF for six years. Willy Daufenbach was also a member of the VKS board from its inception and is today an honorary member of the VKS board.
