25 years in Croatia for Gebrüder Weiss
Gebrüder Weiss is celebrating 25 years in Croatia. The logistics provider has invested more than EUR 35 million in infrastructure, digitalisation, and service expansion across its sites in Zagreb, Rijeka, and Split. The company recently extended its main logistics terminal in Zagreb to over 20,000 m² in response to rising customer demand according to Gebrüder Weiss.
Strong e-commerce growth and the country’s thriving tourism sector remain key drivers, with a new cross-dock facility planned near Split as the company reported. "Croatia not only offers a strategically excellent location for freight transport between the EU and the Western Balkans, but also an attractive environment for investment," said Thomas Schauer, Regional Manager for Central and Southeast Europe.
