A joint green effort in Wilhelmshaven
Deugro and Nordfrost are cooperating in a new eco-friendly project in the port of Wilhelmshaven. The green energy logistics hub in the making mainly addresses clients from the onshore and offshore wind energy industry as well as grid-related players from the converter stations, substations, cable business, and transformers sectors, among others. The new hub will primarily serve the Central Europe region.
The joint offer includes the handling and storage, consolidation and commissioning of components, as well as condition inspection including photo documentation, packing and stowage/unloading of containers, import/export clearance and other logistics services at the Nordfrost terminals in Wilhelmshaven. They will provide about 150,000 sqm of logistics space at its two port locations with a total area of 40 hectares for the joint hub activities. (sh)
