Aigle Azur with ASL Airlines France to Algeria


Paris-Orly-based carrier Aigle Azur will wet-lease B737-300(QC) capacity from fellow French airline ASL Airlines France from 3 July to 2 October 2019. The aircraft will operate out of Lille in Northern France to Algiers, the capital of Algeria, twice weekly and to the important sea port city Oran in the Western part of the country on a weekly basis.

 

ASL Airlines France has three B737-300(QC)s, which can quickly be modified into a full freighter aircraft, providing 18 t of main deck capacity. Aigle Azur's in-house fleet encompasses eight A320-200s and two A330-300s.

 

The airline also wet-leases an ATR 42-300(F) aircraft from Spain's Swiftair to operate cargo flights between Marseilles and Algiers. (ah)
