Alexandre Roussel appointed IPP operations director
Alexandre Roussel has been appointed director of operations for southern Europe at IPP, a leading European firm focused on rental and sustainable management of wooden pallets. His main objective is to facilitate IPP's substantial growth by enhancing operational synergies across France, the Iberian Peninsula and Italy. Roussel brings over 20 years of expertise in retail transport and logistics, having previously held prominent positions at Casino Group and GT Solutions, as well as managing a division at Lahaye Global Logistics.
Since joining IPP in early September, Roussel is tasked with optimising the flow of wooden pallets from production to retail using a circular economy logistics framework. He aims to navigate the complexities of logistics flows and ensure effective operations. Roussel expressed enthusiasm about his role, stating, "Pallet work is fascinating," emphasising the challenges in organisational and digital transformation that lie ahead during this growth phase for IPP.
