Carbox advances sustainability and digital innovation

Carbox, part of the Tarros group operating in Italy, Egypt and Morocco, is strengthening its commitment to eco-friendly logistics and digitalisation. With a fleet of 200 vehicles, mainly Euro 6 trucks, it launched a pilot using HVO (renewable hydrotreated vegetable oil), which now accounts for 30% of fuel consumption by Q3 2025. Tests confirm HVO's full compatibility with diesel engines, with no modifications needed and emissions reductions of up to 90%, all while maintaining performance. The project is scalable, ensuring operational continuity and aligning with the Tarros Group's ESG and decarbonisation objectives.

Simultaneously, Carbox has digitalised many processes: digital management of way-bills, a real-time operational platform for drivers and logistics partners and experimental AI projects to automate workflows. These innovations improve efficiency, reduce human errors and enhance service quality. Thanks to the Tarros Group's integrated logistics network, Carbox can set specific emission reduction targets for each segment, creating a sustainable and replicable model that aligns with European and global standards. This strategic mix of energy transition and digital transformation underscores Carbox's goal to deliver responsible, efficient and competitive transport solutions worldwide.
