Clip plans Małaszewicze terminal

Container Terminal Mala, a part of the Clip group, has signed a contract with Polish infrastructure firm TorKol to build a new intermodal terminal in Małaszewicze (Poland), a East–West logistics hub at the EU’s border.

The facility will handle China–Europe and Europe–China flows, enabling rail-to-rail transfers between broad gauge (1,520 mm) and standard gauge lines (1,435 mm). Works include new track systems, upgraded arrival and departure lines, station and road infrastructure, plus handling equipment and IT systems. Completion is planned for June 2026.

Clip president Agnieszka Hipś said the terminal will be of strategic importance for Poland and the EU, boosting the country’s role as a modern intermodal operator. "Together, we're laying the foundation for the future of Polish logistics at the international level," she added. (js)
