'CS Anthem' joins TSP
Crowley Stena Marine Solutions, a joint venture of Crowley and Stena Bulk, has reported it has been approved by the US maritime administration to operate the 'CS Anthem' under the 'Tanker Security Program' (TSP). The US-flagged, 49,990 dwt medium-range tanker, crewed and managed by Crowley, replaces the 'Stena Immaculate' and joins the 'Stena Imperative' and 'Stena Impeccable' in the programme.
Tucker Gilliam, the vice-president of fleet operations at Crowley Shipping, said the addition underlines the company’s commitment to providing reliable US-crewed tanker capacities. The joint venture combines Crowley’s expertise in US flag operations and crewing with Stena Bulk’s tanker know-how, aiming to support commercial and government energy transport needs. (js)
