CTL expands Homberg hub
Cargo Trans Logistik AG (CTL) is enlarging its site at the central hub in Homberg, with a new lorry access, 50 additional trailer parking spaces and digitalised gate management to improve efficiency in loading and unloading. The expansion supports increasing demand, shortens routes and lays the groundwork for a future electric lorry charging infrastructure, planned to be completed by spring 2026. The digital Fastlane system enables smooth, contactless vehicle movements, reducing waiting times and increasing goods turnover speed.
The site expansion paves the way for sustainable logistics, including the implementation of an in-house charging park with 2.5 megawatts of power. Construction has already been put out to tender and is expected to commence later this year, with completion targeted for spring 2026. These measures ensure the centre remains competitive and advancing towards a more sustainable future.
