Customs handling on the UK border post-Brexit
Following a report from the national audit office, the British International Freight Association (Bifa) has presented its comments on the state of supply chains in post-Brexit UK.
Concerning plans to improve the efficiency of customs processes on the UK border, Bifa stressed the importance of detailed guidance from government departments.
It added that the findings contained in the report should be taken into consideration for the development of strategies to create a realistic and workable schedule that will allow businesses managing international trade sufficient time for planning and implementation. (mk)
