Davies Turner restructures in Türkiye
Davies Turner has restructured its logistics operations in Türkiye through two new partnerships. Daily two-way trailer services between Türkiye and the UK will now be handled by Talay logistics, while Gebrüder Weiss' Türkiye branch will take over point-of-origin warehousing, quality control and compliance in Istanbul for clients sourcing from the country. The move follows a change in ownership at former partner Ekol group, prompting Davies Turner to secure new collaborations according to its own information.
According to Davies Turner director Alan Williams the partnership with Talay logistics standardises door-to-door trailer operations, supported by Davies Turner’s purchase order management system, enabling tracking by PO number, SKU or unit level. (js)
