‘Digital Port Call’ tool for Gothenburg

The Gothenburg Port Authority is collaborating with Awake.AI to develop a digital port call solution that is expected to save around 1,000 t of CO2 emissions annually and streamline operations at the port.


The ‘Digital Port Call’ tool will centralise communication points, allowing for efficient planning of ship arrivals, departures, and operations. The collaboration builds on their previous partnership in creating the digital berth planner tool, ‘Allberth’.


The new solution is part of the green connection initiative to reduce port-related CO2 emissions by 70% by 2030. It is projected to be operational by early 2024 and increase transparency and sustainability in the port's logistics chains. (pb)
