DKV introduces logistics TMS
DKV mobility has expanded its digital portfolio with the launch of its new transport management software (DKV TMS), enabling central order management, real-time route tracking and resource allocation as the company reported. Fully integrated into the DKV cockpit customer portal and app, the system aims to allow end-to-end control of logistics processes without additional infrastructure or installation.
"With DKV TMS, we’re driving the digital transformation of our services," said Markus Präßl, managing director for sales and customer success. The tool includes route and resource planning, digital document handling and automated cost control. Real-time tracking aims to ensure transparency, while driver communication takes place directly via the DKV app. "We have deliberately avoided unnecessary complexity," added Sven Bartel, director digital portal & solutions.
