DSV names new CEO for Contract Logistics

The global transport and logistics group DSV has appointed Maciej Walenda as CEO of Contract Logistics and member of the Group Executive Committee effective today, 1 October 2025. He succeeds Albert-Derk Bruin, who is leaving after 15 years with the company.

Walenda joined DSV in 2013 and has since held senior roles including Managing Director Poland, EVP Central and East Europe, and most recently Regional CEO Contract Logistics Europe. The division provides end-to-end warehousing, distribution and fulfilment services, offering scalable supply chain solutions.

Walenda said the ongoing integration, which consolidates facilities and adds thousands of colleagues worldwide, strengthens DSV’s global footprint. Group COO Brian Ejsing praised Walenda’s leadership experience and ability to drive results under challenging market conditions. (ah)
