Dubai to Africa – now also in Hong Kong
Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals (Hactl) has been appointed by SolitAir as ground handling partner for its new freighter services into Hong Kong. The Dubai-based carrier launched operations on 7 August with a 22-t capacity B737-800BCF linking Dubai, Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Hong Kong.
SolitAir has ambitious growth plans, aiming to expand its B737-800BCF fleet to 10–12 aircraft. The young airline positions itself as a connector of the global south and added Harare (Zimbabwe) and Lusaka (Zambia) to its African network last week.
