EuroAfrica deploys 'Syroco Live'
EuroAfrica has announced the deployment of 'Syroco Live' on its multipurpose cargo vessel, the 'ESL Australia'.
The company implements the real-time voyage optimisation platform to support safe navigation and improved energy efficiency on routes between Europe and the Southern hemisphere. Syroco Live combines live vessel data, digital twin modelling and evolving weather forecasts to guide routing and speed decisions.
"Deploying Syroco Live gives us the confidence to face unpredictable weather and sea states while optimising the voyage for both safety and efficiency," said Marcin Goldman, shipping director at EuroAfrica.
