Europa Road transports testing kits
Europa Road, which bis a part of the Europa Worldwide Group, recently released a statement regarding its role in healthcare logistics.
According to this information the company " plays a vital role in global healthcare by delivering time-critical medical testing kits." These goods are distributed in Asia, Africa and Europe, including the UK. Europa Road supports a med-tech company by delivering tesing equipment for HIV, HPV, Hepatitis B & C and urine and swab sample kits.
With its 'delivered at place' service the company started to transport the kits almost a year ago. "Due to the nature of these consignments we often need to fulfil next-day deliveries, which means we use our network of local hauliers, plus our own trucks," said Ben Sindel, the Manchester branch manager. The company ships between 600 and 2,000 kits weekly. (js)
