Europorte replaces chairman

Getlink's railfreight subsidiary Europorte saw its chairman Pascal Sainson retire on 1 January 2021, after ten years at the head of the company. Sainson joined Getlink in 1996 as Eurotunnel’s director of operations.

Raphaël Doutrebente (photo), a member of Getlink's executive committee chaired by Yann Leriche, Group CEO, will take Sainson's place. Doutrebente has been Europorte’s CEO since July 2020, after joining in 2015 as deputy managing director, before being appointed deputy CEO in 2018.

He also served as CEO of Régionéo, a joint venture created by Getlink and RATP Dev., and worked as deputy managing director of MyFerryLink for three years. Prior to that, Doutrebente held various executive positions in human resources. (amh)
