Giuseppe Tarantini to lead AIA

Airbridge International Agencies (AIA) has announced a change in executive leadership. Mark Andrew stepped down as CEO on 16 July after 17 years in the role. Under his leadership, AIA developed into a key player in the GSA market in the UK and abroad.

Giuseppe Tarantini has been appointed as the company’s new CEO. Born in Italy and educated in Switzerland, Tarantini brings broad experience from the airfreight industry with him. His career includes positions at Swissair Cargo, South African Airways, CMA CGM Air Cargo, and Air France KLM. Most recently, he worked for Dnata, gaining insights into airline services from a partner perspective.

“This opportunity felt like a natural next step,” he said, expressing his commitment to AIA’s continued success. Lior Hannes, chairman of the board, said he is confident that Tarantini’s leadership will help AIA open a new chapter marked by growth, stability, and innovation.
