Heisterkamp hub in MITP announced
Dutch logistics group Heisterkamp transportation solutions has announced a new investment in the Republic of Moldova with the opening of a facility at the Moldova innovation technology park (MITP). "We are confident that this next milestone will contribute to our collective success while reflecting our ongoing commitment to growth and the development of strong partnerships across Europe," said Vincent van der Graaff, Heisterkamp’s country manager.
Founded in 1919, the firm operates over 800 trucks and 9,000 trailers across Europe, integrating road transport, leasing, maintenance and digital logistics solutions. The investment follows discussions at the 'BENELUX–Moldova Economic Forum 2025'. Heisterkamp’s new base will be supported by MITP’s 7% turnover tax regime and digital infrastructure. (js)
