Hellmann back on track
The seven lean years are over. In 2021, Hellmann witnessed an increase in the number of shipments of 25% compared to 2022 (16.2 million to 20.3 million). The group's turnover went up by EUR 1.5 billion, representing an uptick of 61% and crossing the EUR 4 billion threshold.
The company’s acquisition strategy was one of the main drivers of growth, while the Latin America, Asia-Pacific and North America regions achieved organic above-average increases. The workforce increased by 16% to almost 12,350 employees by the end of 2021.
Besides the creation of several new country offices in Asia and the Middle East, the company’s expansion within France was also of strategic importance. (sh)
