Iana appoints VP for government affairs

The Intermodal Association of North America (Iana) has appointed Lucille Marvin as its first vice-president for government affairs. In the new role she’ll represent Iana on Capitol Hill, advocating for the association’s legislative and regulatory priorities in the intermodal transport sector.

Marvin brings extensive policy expertise from senior roles at the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) and the Surface Transportation Board (STB) with her. Most recently, she served as managing director of the FMC, having previously been its legislative counsel. Her career also includes work in the US House of Representatives for Colorado members David Skaggs and Mark Udall.

Iana president and CEO Anne Reinke said Marvin’s knowledge of Washington and intermodal transport "makes her an asset who will ensure the concerns and interests of our industry are heard and recognised." (ah)
