Latam adds Bogotá–LA link for floral exports
After adding a fourth frequency from Quito to Los Angeles earlier this month, Latam Cargo has launched a new weekly freighter route from Bogotá yesterday, 13 July 2025, raising its total capacity on this corridor by 66%. The move supports flower exporters in Colombia and Ecuador by strengthening airfreight links to the US West Coast, a major market for South American floriculture.
The new service adds over 100 t of capacity to LAX and reflects Latam's long-term commitment to agricultural exporters. "We are proud to support our cargo customers with flexible solutions tailored to their needs," said Santiago Alvarez, CCO at Latam Cargo Group.
The Latin American carrier operates a fleet of 21 dedicated freighters across the region, offering year-round support for perishable and high-value shipments through its specialised network. (ah)
