Leader change at Latam Cargo
Cristián Ureta, the current CEO of Latam Cargo, is leaving the company in the near future. His replacement is Andrés Bianchi, SVP sales for North America, Europe and Asia, on 15 April 2017. Bianchi first became a member of the group in 2001, when he took on a role in the finance department in 2001.
After obtaining an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and working at McKinsey, he returned to the group in 2010, when he joined Latam Cargo in Miami FL (USA). In addition to his current role, he served as VP finance and SVP network.
During his twelve years at the Latam Airlines Group, he gained experience in the passenger and cargo business fields, which now give him a comprehensive view of the company and the requisite tools to lead Latam Cargo. (ah)
