Lufthansa Cargo honours Expeditors
Lufthansa Cargo presented Expeditors with its ‘Excellence Award 2024’ during the air cargo operator’s ‘Global Partner Council’, held in Chantilly (France).
The long-standing partnership between the two companies is built on trust, reliability and operational performance. In 2024, the collaboration was renewed through a global agreement, with the focus in future on strengthening joint activities in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sectors.
Lufthansa Cargo CEO Ashwin Bhat praised Expeditors, a transport and logistics services provider from the USA, for its professionalism, open communication and proactive approach. Tim Barber, Expeditors’ executive vice-president for Europe, accepted the award on behalf of the company, expressing his appreciation for the shared commitment to excellence.
Lufthansa Cargo operates five hubs in Europe, offering airfreight services to around 350 destinations in over 100 countries. Its fleet includes 18 Boeing B777Fs and four Airbus A321Fs, complemented by daily road feeder services as well as capacities on passenger aircraft.
