MNG expanding freighter fleet


Turkey’s MNG Airlines has signed an mou for two Airbus A350Fs, making the advanced freighter the backbone of its future long-haul cargo fleet. The 111 t capacity aircraft, with 8,700 km range and up to 40% lower emissions, will serve MNG’s global network, spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.

 

CEO Murathan Doruk Günal said the deal strengthened MNG’s role across trade lanes and adds flexibility for e-commerce, express and high-value cargo. Airbus EVP Benoît de Saint-Exupéry praised the move as further proof of the A350F’s “game-changing” appeal. The aircraft is the only newbuild freighter to meet Icao’s 2027 CO₂ standards and will enter service with 50% SAF capability. (ah)
