Morten Møller Jensen appointed COO of Port NOLA


The Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) has announced the appointment of Morten Møller Jensen as chief operating officer, where he will oversee all port operations and lead the Louisiana International Terminal (LIT) project. Jensen brings over 40 years of global experience in shipping, port management and logistics, including senior roles at MSC, Maersk, Norden and APM Terminals. His expertise in operations, international business development and public-private partnerships will be pivotal in driving the success of LIT, a major infrastructure initiative designed to boost Louisiana's role in global trade.

Jensen's extensive background in managing large-scale port projects across continents complements Port NOLA's strategic growth plans. Beth Branch, CEO of Port NOLA, praised Jensen's international leadership and strategic vision, emphasising his valuable contribution to advancing the port's mission.
