Neovia appoints Retief as COO
Neovia Logistics has named Jacques Retief as its new chief operations officer (COO), tasking him with leading global operations and advancing the company’s customer satisfaction and continuous improvement strategies.
Retief brings nearly two decades of 3PL experience from senior roles at DB Schenker, RIM Logistics, DSV and UTi Worldwide. Most recently, he headed DB Schenker’s contract logistics Americas division, overseeing 130 sites and over 10,000 employees.
Neovia CEO Michael Fahy praised Retief’s blend of engineering expertise and operational insight in sectors such as automotive, aerospace and e-commerce. With operations in over 20 countries, Neovia continues to expand its global footprint under Retief’s leadership. (ah)
