No diversity for brands
A.P. Moller–Maersk is restructuring the brands in its transport and logistics portfolio. In a press release, the group spoke of its "intention to move towards a singular, unified brand by integrating Maersk brands such as Hamburg Süd and Sealand, among others."
Besides the pledge that this step will not affect the quality of service, not much more was said. Yet, it is obvious that the reshuffle of a new leadership team and the announced termination of the 2M alliance with MSC in early 2025 points to a redefinition of the Danish giant's strategy. (sh)
