Norwegian to begin long-haul B787 operation

The North European carrier LCC Norwegian Air Shuttle, which began long-haul services in June using two leased Airbus 340, is moving forward its planned Boeing 787 operation on long-haul routes. The carrier's B787 aircraft is now scheduled to enter long-haul service from today (16 August), instead of 31 August. The first commercial flight will be made on the Stockholm (Sweden) - New York-JFK (USA) route, initially planned to be launched on 2 September, followed tomorrow (17 August) by a Stockholm - Bangkok connection.
