Omega Seiki launches India's first autonomous freight
On 1 December 2025 Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) announced the launch of Swayamgati Cargo, India's first commercially available autonomous electric freight three-wheeler. Targeted at campus logistics, industrial parks, airports and e-commerce hubs, OSM plans to produce 1,500 units over the next 24 months, with bookings opening and deliveries set to start this quarter.
The vehicle integrates OSM's electric drivetrain with advanced technologies including Lidar, GPS and AI for obstacle detection, enabling operation on customisable pre-mapped routes. With a driving range of up to 120 km, Swayamgati Cargo is designed to enhance operational efficiency and reduce labour dependency within industrial settings. Uday Narang, founder chairman of OSM, highlighted the importance of this launch in advancing India's autonomous mobility ecosystem. Production will occur at OSM's facilities in Faridabad and Qualam, with export plans from Dubai to Asia and Africa.
