P&O Ferries boosts North Sea freight

P&O Ferries has expanded its North Sea freight operations ahead of schedule to meet rising customer demand. Following a capacity upgrade on the Tilbury–Europoort route this year, the company has introduced further enhancements across its Tilbury services.

On the Europoort–Tilbury route, two vessels – Norsky and Norstream – now operate with increased port time, enabling up to 20 additional freight units per sailing. Extended terminal access from 07:00 at Europoort supports early deliveries and collections. Meanwhile, weekly sailings on the Zeebrugge–Tilbury route rise from 18 to 20, improving frequency and flexibility for freight customers as the company reported. "This expansion marks another decisive step in our growth journey," said Andrias Justinussen, Chief Growth Officer at P&O Ferries. "we’ll keep investing in smarter, scalable freight solutions that anticipate our customers’ evolving need," he added. (js)
