Paul Walter appointed co-MD of 24plus
Paul Walter has been appointed co-managing director of 24plus Systemverkehre GmbH & Co. KG, effective 13.10.2025, joining Yvonne Besser in leading the company's head office in Hauneck. Bringing extensive expertise in groupage logistics, Walter has held senior roles at sim cargo GmbH and CTL Cargo Trans Logistik AG, where he focused on digitalisation, IT development, network optimisation and financial management. In his new position at 24plus, he aims to enhance network stability and transparency in the short term, while driving long-term development towards a highly efficient, digitally connected and future-proof groupage network. Key priorities will include modernising IT systems, strengthening collaboration between partners and fostering new strategic partnerships.
Yvonne Besser, who has led 24plus since July 2024, highlighted the significant growth potential for the network in a changing logistics landscape and expressed confidence in Walters’ contributions to the company's continued strategic expansion. With 67 partner companies across Europe, 24plus operates a comprehensive groupage network with scheduled direct and hub-based services, handling general and dangerous goods to defined quality standards. The leadership duo will work to ensure that 24plus remains a reliable, innovative and financially strong cooperative for its mid-sized logistics partners.
