Reber expanding into Austrian market
Reber Logistik has acquired a stake in Cerberus Services & Logistics, gaining access to a nationwide B2B and B2C furniture logistics network in Austria.
Cerberus operates six depots and specialises in two-person handling and bulky items, including furniture and appliances. The partnership enables Reber to offer end-customer delivery and assembly services in Austria.
The deal supports Reber’s strategic expansion in the Alpine region and is expected to boost cross-border volumes for its German operations, according to Reber Logistik managing director Mirko Kauffeldt. Cerberus founder Josef Dib remains managing director and shareholder. (js)
