Swissport appoints Chris Severson
Swissport has announced the appointment of Chris Severson as chief strategy & transformation officer, effective January 2026. Bringing over 20 years of international experience in strategy, transformation and operations across various industries, Severson joins the executive team to lead the company's innovation and digital transformation efforts worldwide.
Reporting to president & CEO Warwick Brady, he will focus on enhancing operational performance, driving digital innovation and shaping the future airport experience. Warwick Brady highlighted Severson's expertise in large-scale transformations as key to accelerating Swissport's technology initiatives, ensuring safer, more efficient and customer-centric airport operations. Severson's prior roles include operating managing director at Terra Firma, along with leadership positions at Philip Morris International and Digicel Group. His appointment reinforces Swissport's commitment to leveraging technology to maintain its position as the global leader in aviation services.
