Tackling bottlenecks
Warehouse bottlenecks are becoming a growing challenge for e-commerce businesses facing rising demand and longer peak seasons. Research commissioned by Southgate Global shows that 57% of organisations encounter bottlenecks in warehouse operations. Equipment-related issues that off-the-shelf solutions cannot solve were frequently mentioned.
With supply chain volatility persisting, Southgate has expanded its design services, working with companies to develop bespoke solutions to improve efficiency and keep goods flowing as the company reported. Its engineers and project managers collaborate with customers from survey to implementation.
