Trops expands Tavira logistics hub
Trops, a wholesaler of tropical fruit, has inaugurated its expanded Tavira facility in southern Portugal.
With an investment of over EUR 9 million, the new 7,195 sqm centre enables local sorting and classification of fruit, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce the need for transport to the Málaga hub.
Trops supports over 4,000 growers, 120 of them in Portugal. According to Trops the expansion reinforces the group’s commitment to local farming, innovation and fair trade, strengthening its footprint in the Algarve’s fruit logistics sector. (js)
