Virgin Atlantic links up with CargoAi
Virgin Atlantic Cargo has partnered with CargoAi, a digital airfreight marketplace from Singapore, to expand its global reach and enhance the booking experience for forwarders.
Through the integration, customers in key markets – including the UK, US, Europe, India and South Africa – can now access Virgin Atlantic’s real-time rates, bookable capacity and streamlined eBookings via CargoAi’s "CargoMART" and API connections. The launch covers General Cargo shipments up to 5,000 kg, with Pharma and Fresh products to follow soon.
Managing director Nick Diesel said the collaboration gives customers "greater choice and faster, more intuitive access to capacity worldwide." CargoAi CEO Matthieu Petot called the integration "a milestone in connecting airlines and forwarders through seamless digital solutions." (ah)
