Waberer's expands fleet
The Hungarian service provider Waberer’s International and Volvo Trucks have agreed on the procurement of 650 new Volvo tractors. With this year’s contingent Waberer’s has become the Swedish manufacturer’s largest European road freight transport operator customer in recent years.
The more than EUR 40 million pact with Volvo is part of Waberer’s major development programme to freshen and expand its fleet with more than 1,100 tractors. The Budapest-based company specializes in the long distance freight of full truckloads. The company has subsidiaries in Poland, Germany, Romania and Slovakia and its 2012 revenues amounted to EUR 377.5 million. (ben)
