Walvis Bay gains perishable volumes
According to a local news report, the Namibian grape company Capespan has shipped its first consignment of grapes to Europe via the port of Walvis Bay. Namport, the Namibian ports' operating company, hopes that it will gain more direct shipments from the fruit grower that previously used the Cape Town port (South Africa).
