Weber Logistics names new CEO
Weber Logistics has appointed Clifford Katab as chief executive officer, marking a new phase of growth for the California-based logistics provider. Katab brings more than 30 years of experience in global shipping and logistics, having served as president of Performance Team, COO for North American distribution at Maersk, and CEO of several private-equity portfolio firms.
He succeeds Maurice Joseph, who continues as president and COO. "I look forward to leading Weber’s next century of growth and innovation through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions," Katab said.
Backed by Stellex Capital Management, Weber Logistics operates an integrated West Coast network providing warehousing, distribution and transportation services across the United States. (ah)
