Witt becomes CFO of FedEx spin-off
FedEx Corp has appointed Marshall Witt as senior vice president and chief financial officer of FedEx Freight, effective today, 15 October 2025.
Witt returns to FedEx after 12 years as CFO of TD Synnex, where he oversaw strong revenue growth and the successful spin-off of Concentrix in 2020. Before that, he spent 15 years at FedEx, most recently as senior vice president of finance and controller at FedEx Freight.
CEO-designate John Smith said Witt’s experience in transformation and capital strategy will support FedEx Freight’s transition to an independent company. His appointment completes the leadership team, joining COO Clint McCoy, CTO Mike Rodgers, HR and legal chief Eddie Klank, and commercial officer Mike Lyons, as FedEx prepares for the planned spin-off.
