WR Logistics appoints Fischborn in Germany
WR Logistics has named Marc Fischborn as its new managing director for Germany, strengthening its leadership in a key European market.
Fischborn will be based in Düsseldorf and will oversee national operations, focusing on project delivery and client engagement in sectors such as engineering, petrochemicals, energy and manufacturing. his remit also includes reinforcing links between Germany and WR’s global network in the Middle East, the CIS, Latin America, Asia and Africa.
With nearly 20 years in international logistics, Fischborn has already held senior roles at Thyssenkrupp Uhde, Fracht AG, Antwerp Global Shipping and Dako Worldwide Transport, developing complex heavylift and project transport solutions. WR Logistics, part of WR Group, provides engineered logistics services for large-scale industrial projects worldwide, with activities spanning project logistics, heavylift and freight forwarding. (ah)
