100 for Fercam
After a difficult year in 2020, the South Tyrolean company Fercam returned to pre-pandemic heights in 2021. Its EUR 943 million turnover was generated in 21 countries with more than 100 company-owned branches. While the full truck-load (FTL) business contributed a 52% share to the total turnover, in addition to improvements in the air and ocean segment, the company’s online trade business grew by 10.5%.
The branches in Como, Cuneo and Udine moved into new facilities and, for the first time in the company's history, a branch in Helsingborg (Sweden) was established entirely remotely - from the search for a suitable property to the draughting of the incorporation agreements - due to Corona-related travel restrictions.
At the end of April this year, the South Tyrolean transport and logistics company opened an office in Valencia (Spain), bringing up the number of its branches to 100. (sh)
