A CEO for the Caribbean
Global logistics provider DP World has named Manuel Martinez CEO of DP World Dominicana. The company opened its 100th freight forwarding office last month as it expands the range of supply-chain solutions offered to its global customer base.
The group launched a new air cargo logistics hub in Punta Cana in 2023, a multimodal facility designed to provide air, land, and sea capabilities for customers throughout the Caribbean.
Martinez, who has more than 20 years of experience in global logistics and port management, joined DP World in 2010. He most recently served as general manager of Terminales Portuarias Euroandinos (TPE) in Paita, Peru, where he led the terminal’s operational and commercial strategy. (cj)
