A cool 270%

Kerry Logistics has implemented sorting robots for a global fast fashion brand to enhance sorting productivity and delivery efficiency in e-commerce fulfilment. The company began to roll out the Kool Bee robots in various phases in logistics facilities in Hong Kong, Tianjin and Dongguan as from November 2022.

Requiring only a small area to operate, the robots have several advantages: they can be quickly deployed, reconfigured, and scaled up, significantly increasing the accessibility and flexibility of sortation automation compared with traditional fixed automation. When using Kool Bee, overall sorting productivity may be improved by 270%, Kerry Logistics said.

In 2021, the company launched both Kool Botic and Kool Bay, innovative technologies to be deployed in cold chain logistics operations in the F&B industry.

Kerry Logistics is an Asia-based, global 3PL with a global presence across 58 countries and territories. It generated a revenue of over USD 11.055 billion in 2022. (ben)
